It’s the failure to successfully prepare one generation to steward what the previous generation built.

While many families accumulate wealth, businesses, land, and influence, far fewer successfully transition them across generations.

Research into multi-generational wealth consistently shows that most families lose cohesion, capability, or continuity within three generations.

This is often due to breakdowns in trust, communication, preparedness, governance, and shared vision.

I have made a study of both the common failure points that erode family continuity and the structures, behaviours, and cultural practices that allow successful families to preserve and compound strength across generations.

Through this, it becomes clear that succession isn’t mainly a financial process. It is a human one.

What you spent a lifetime building is not the same thing as inheriting it. The transition process requires preparation and understanding of elements beyond legal structures like trusts and wills in order to maintain momentum and cohesion. 

My role is to help you establish the soft skills and structures to ensure success in the transition of leadership, responsibility, wealth, and culture to your heirs.
